No one has a perfect life. We make mistakes, we learn. You may feel angry or confused by the way someone treated you. You may feel guilty or ashamed by the way you behaved once. You may even beat yourself up for what you have done a long time ago. Sometimes, bad things happen to good people. Some events may feel unjust or unfair. As a result, many people carry unresolved anger or resentment - bitter feelings of sadness and disappointment. It is perfectly fine to acknowledge these feelings and emotions.
